What are the benefits of combining oral medication with cytokine therapy?

Finasteride, a commonly prescribed oral medication for hair loss, is taken at only 1/5 of the dose originally intended for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, in order to minimize systemic hormonal side effects.

Cytokines therapy provided at clinics works by directly delivering hair growth-promoting factors to the scalp, targeting the specific areas affected by hair loss.
This approach helps suppress the remaining hair loss-inducing factors that oral medication alone may not fully block.

When patients visit clinics for hair loss concerns, they are usually not seeking preventive advice for the distant future—they are often in urgent need of visible improvement.
For those looking for faster and more noticeable results, cytokine therapy can be a highly effective option.

Combinable therapy system with AGF39? – Chapter 3

The AGF39 Hair Care Program recommends an optimal approach to secure clear scientific and clinical validation regarding the effectiveness of hair loss treatments, ensuring rapid experiences and sustained results.
To achieve this, a synthetic combination therapy involving AGF39 may be suggested

PRP(Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Blood contains nearly all the nutrients needed for the survival and growth of biological tissues. Platelets, in particular, play a crucial role in wound healing and regeneration by containing fibrin and various growth factor cytokines. The practice of concentrating platelets from blood for medical treatments originated in dentistry. Since the oral mucosa is less conducive to hemostasis and tissue regeneration following invasive procedures compared to other areas, dentists were likely the first to utilize Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.
Next, dermatology took an interest in the effects of PRP. Dermatologists focus on the growth factor cytokines in PRP, which are crucial for promoting skin tissue regeneration and are therefore important in anti-aging treatments. Similarly, these growth factors can be highly beneficial for treating hair loss. However, one drawback of PRP treatment is the inconvenience of needing to collect between 20cc and 50cc of blood from the patient during each visit.
Another drawback is that only a small amount of the growth factor cytokines in PRP are extracted. Even with the most advanced and expensive PRP kits, most growth factors are extracted in units of pg/ml, which is only 1/10,000 of AGF39. TGF-β, the most abundantly extracted growth factor at 137 µg/ml, also acts as a cell apoptotic factor in hair.

Despite these limitations, the fresh and diverse high-quality proteins present in PRP can provide robust vitality to regressed hair follicles. In the AGF39 hair loss treatment program, simultaneous PRP treatment during the initial session can significantly complement the effects of AGF39. While AGF39 works to normalize the hair growth mechanism, PRP can serve as a temporary booster, enhancing the overall efficacy of the treatment.
Unfortunately, Platelet-Poor Plasma (PPP), discarded during the PRP refining process, is a crucial nutrient for regenerating degenerated hair follicles, yet its significance tends to be overlooked. By incorporating PPP into treatments, the need for blood collection can be minimized. Therefore, it is advisable for experts who believe in the effectiveness of AGF39 to consider AesMed's proposal.

Combinable therapy system with AGF39? – Chapter 2

The AGF39 Hair Care Program recommends an optimal approach to secure clear scientific and clinical validation regarding the effectiveness of hair loss treatments, ensuring rapid experiences and sustained results.
To achieve this, a synthetic combination therapy involving AGF39 may be suggested.

Scalp care
Proper cleansing and scaling methods can make the scalp clean, enhancing the efficiency of delivery to the target point and improving the stability of the procedure.
Scalp massage equipment or manual services that promote vasodilation and microcirculation of the scalp help stimulate the activities of AGF39 cytokines.

Home care
In the hospital's medication, there may be prescriptions such as ketoconazole, steroids, and ciclopirox, which, when used daily, could compromise the quality of the scalp. Scientific and professional shampoos and tonics, while protecting the scalp, can be vital in treating scalp conditions by offering steady but long-term aid to the treatment process.
For this purpose, the TricoClin™ shampoo and tonic are recommended, containing a flavonoid extract from plants rich in Procyanidin polyphenol and human-friendly components.
TricoClin™ uses raw materials with EWG safety grades, excluding nine harmful ingredients such as chemical surfactants that could harm the body.
Moreover, it's a cruelty-free product, not using animal-tested ingredients, and it minimizes raw materials that could pollute the environment, establishing itself as an environmentally friendly option.

Combinable therapy system with AGF39? _Chapter 1

Drug
AGF39 regulates cell apoptotic cytokines secreted by DHT to normalize the hair growth mechanism. Therefore, the prescription of 5αR inhibitors such as finasteride and dutasteride is essential as it is a means to inhibit the production of DHT fundamentally.

LED
When irradiated to the scalp, the powerful LED (Light Emitting Diode) delivers energy to cell tissues such as Mastercell, Neutropil, Macrophage, Fibroblast, Endotheli, Fibro-Myo Cell, and Keratinocyte without causing heat damage to the hair to promote wound healing and cell regeneration.

Electromagnetic field
Studies have shown that when a uniform pulsed electrostatic field of about 10,000 Hz with a small wavelength width and a slow vibration time is irradiated to the scalp, it promotes cell growth of hair follicles and hair papilla.
Electromagnetic field treatment can theoretically help treat hair loss, but further research is needed on the direct synergy effect with AGF39 products.

Why AGF39 Prescribes 6 Cytokines and 1 SOD Based?

There are two contentious issues here.
In other words, should I use a lot of cytokines or many kinds of cytokines?

Genetic engineering is very advanced, but the human body is so mysterious that there is still more we don't know about cytokines than we do.
Therefore, when prescribing cytokines, safety should be put first, and it should be careful to mix cytokines recklessly based on exaggerated thesis results.

So, how many are the safest?
There is no correct answer to this yet either.
If there is no negative interaction, the more diverse it will be, the better.
However, if clear safety is not guaranteed, it would be better to be lacking than excessive.

The reason for AGF39 adopting seven genetically recombinant proteins (6 cytokines + SOD) is not due to scientific data.

In Korea, many medical conferences are held, and AGF39's genetically recombinant protein unit is the most appropriate number selected by AesMed based on the clinical experience and opinions of doctors claimed at the conference.

What is the difference between AGF39 Standard, AGF39 Forte, and AGF39 Basic?

① AGF39 Basic: contained 35㎍ cytokines including SOD plus 37 multi-nutrients.
② AGF39 Forte: contained 138㎍ cytokines including SOD plus 37 multi-nutrients.
③ AGF39 Standard is an economical composition.

AGF39 Basic has enough doses for its efficacy.
AGF39 Forte is needed to promote better and faster results.

Alopecia treatment needs a long time and many procedures.
Managing with Forte only is so costable even when considering its strong efficacy.
A slow start with Basic only is another scattering cost.

The most economical composition of therapy is powerful initial action and managing the improvement for a long time.
Just like pushing the pedals on a bicycle.

What is the difference between AGF39 and Exosome?

AGF39 and Exosome (we regard them as extracted material from stem cell conditioned media) are all made of 100% the same material as the human body structure.

AGF39: Gene recombination technology.
Manufactured by Vector Construction-Transformation to E. Coli-Fermentation and Microfiltration-Lyophilization-Vacuum caping processes like some COVID-19 vaccine production.
With this technology, we can make mass production of each cytokine of hair growth selectively.
So, we can calculate and identify the quantity and types of cytokines.
That means we can select the 7 cytokines for hair growth only and pick out the proteins of inducing hair loss.
One more merit is that AGF39 can apply to all patients of all religions and nations because the materials are not derived from the human body.

Exosomes: Stem cell culture technology.
Manufactured by Collection of origin tissues from__ the human body- Harvesting stem cell culture-Purifying conditioned media extracts and Lyophilization-Vacuum caping process.
There must be abundant protein nutrients including cytokines.
Cytokines in exosomes are more than hundreds and thousands but cannot be identified and calculated and are known as very small amounts than that of recombinant production.
They contain hair-growing cytokines as well as hair-losing cytokines.
However abundant protein nutrients in exosomes contribute to creating a good environment for hair regrowth.

AGF39 and Exosomes are doble options for doctors treating alopecia.
Good combination therapy will produce better results.

AGF39 procedure technique?

Manual, Mesogun, No needle injector, MTS roller, MTS stamp, Auto MTS, and Electroporation can deliver AGF39 to the dermis.

The more delivered to the upper dermis, the better the result.

AGF39 procedure depth?

The target depth is 0.5mm ~1.2mm.
0.5mm for MTS and injection the depth of needle tip into 1.2mm.

Too deep an injection induces more pain and easier and faster dilution.
The longer the AGF39 solution stays on the skin, the better results can be obtained.

AGF39 procedure term or interval?

The basic process is the 2-week term.
But we recommend every week for the initial period then gradually extend the interval until a 4-week term as the maximum.
It all depends on the reaction and improvement scale.

AGF39 vial of multi-use, how many times can be used with 1 vial?

That depends on the size of the lesion, grade, and so on.
Normally 2 times for MTS and 3 times for injection is recommended regarding the 4th step of the Norwood-Hamilton Scale.
We don’t recommend using one vial at a time, and more than 2 procedures a one week.

AGF39 is high dose enough and hair treatment is a game of marathon.

AGF39 storage, how long can be stored, and where and how

We recommend AGF39 be stored in our polystyrene pack until normal saline mixing at room temperature.

After saline mixing, it should be stored in our polystyrene pack at room temperature or in the refrigerator, which is the most stable temperature condition.

AGF39 efficacy, how long does it take to see the efficacy?

There are various causes to make visible efficacy.

The individual differences come from internal causes such as hormones, scalp condition, a system of nerves, blood, microcirculation, the state of the hair cycle when treatment starts, and so on.

Considering the telogen phase takes 3 months, patients may look at the change of hair shape after 3 months to 6 months.e
But the first change of improvement is the thickness of hair, they could feel something better in 5 weeks.

Patients should not be sloppy until 8 months because the changes of the first period might be just a present for the thinning hairs.
At that period, many solutions could show some results because the hairs had been starved for a long time.

So, patients should watch the maintenance of improvement for more than 8 months and then keep the way of the treatment process.

Good food and lifestyle are very helpful of course.

AGF39 efficacy history, how AGF39 be the standard mesotherapy solution for alopecia?

AGF39 started three growth factors of IGF-1, VEGF, and bFGF in 2008 as the name of SGF-57.
We underwent many trials and errors. We recalled our product 4 times 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2018.
And gradually upgraded our prescriptions and manufacturing processes.

In 2011, we progressed a clinical study to confirm the basic dose of cytokine vials with our new prescription at the medical center of Catholic University.
Fortunately, the article published in the Journal of Dermatology in 2012, one of SCI.
We defined the most rational cytokine number as 7 and first prescribed IGF-1, VEGF, bFGF, KGF, Noggin, SCF, and SOD.
Then set up the theory of 'Cytokines therapy for alopecia treatment.'

In 2012 and 2013 we progressed more clinical studies to confirm the program of procedure and new ingredient of FGF9 at Myong Ji Hospital of Kwandong University.
Our Cytokines therapy for alopecia was first announced at the place of WCHR 2013 in Edinburg and WCHR2014 in Jeju island on those clinical studies of Myong Ji Hospital.

In 2016, we launched a new brand of AGF39 which includes FGF9, a cytokine of WNT promotor.

In 2018, we first attended KIMES to meet overseas clients.

Now we have 500 clinic clients from the top in the alopecia department in domestic, and overseas partners from 8 countries including China, Japan, Malaysia, and Turkiye.

AGF39 cytokines, Isn’t cytokine harmful to the human body?

Generally, cytokines are expressed for the wound healing process.
The phase of inflammation produces various cytokines to promote the wound healing process, such as IL, TNF, FGF5, Interferon, TGF, etc. to promote the wound healing process.
Sometimes excessive cytokine production induces organ damage by ‘cytokine storm’.
Cytokines can be divided into various types, such as apoptotic cytokines, inflammation cytokines, growth factors, and so on.

The cytokines in AGF39 all contribute to hair growth only.
These cytokines usually appear during the phases of proliferation, angiogenesis, and remodeling.

AGF39 notices

1. AGF39 always uses a transparent vial for the operator to confirm the physical and chemical stability of the solution.
Stability confirmation is essential before treatment even though AGF39 has had no problem for the last 5 years.

2. The efficient dose of AGF39 is designed for the MTS.
When you inject AGF39, the dose of solution is much enough to show the result with just half a vial. So, divide more than 2 times.

3. We recommend doing LED work. LED relaxes and heals the needed wounds. LED helps the cells to use the near-delivered solution.

4. Rare needle allergy or foreign body reaction from proteins may occur according to individual conditions. When feel some fever or pain, take a dose of Acetaminophen, and see your doctor.

5.Do not mix with other solutions except normal saline, lidocaine. Before procedure, careful test is very needed even though mesotherapy is an academy of experience.
AGF39 solution will be composed of 46 ingredients after mixing normal saline. The solution is set to the isotonicity, pH, and biocompatibility.
Mixing with poly vitamins or PDRN may break AGF39’s isotonicity, pH, biocompatibility, and multi-nutrient balance.

Hair loss care is a long-time-small game, not a short-strong work. So, just enjoy the treatment instead of being greedy.
